I have been in the industry for over thirty years,  and gained a wealth of experience and always dreamed of having my own business.

I have had the privilege to work along side some very talented chefs in some great places. I started off in London, at the Savoy Hotel, I then made my way to Le Talbooth restaurant in Dedham, which lead me on to Switzerland where I worked for Lindt and Sprungli.

While my children have been growing up I have managed a catering operation with a team of eight. Patisserie has always been my passion, so I decided to start  SugarChef, I make fresh Swiss Chocolates, cakes and biscuits to order.

I  have  been offered the most wonderful opportunity to open a small boutique hotel. A dear friend purchased this fabulous house, and if truth be told wondered, "What shall I do with it?" Well fortunately for me that's where I came in!
